The Healthcare Center makes an inviting gesture, allowing the patients and visitors to feel welcomed into a large open court partially shaded with green creepers. The space is differentiated subtly with surface materials that aid in the healing process.
HOUSE ON A HILL
A 500 Sq.Yd. Residential house was designed to attempt to compound the rural lifestyle within a contemporary setting, as desired by the client. Thus, it aimed to mediate the living style of a mixed user group. An elaborated use of a spatial design element, a verandah, was made in addition to open green spaces.
Mid Rise Apartments
While imagining a mid-rise mixed-use building, this design addresses the site proximities to create an integrated neighbourhood within the urban context. The ground floor caters to activities that bring together the community, whereas the upper floor/rooftop becomes a semi-private breakout space for the residential community, thus enabling social integration within macro and micro contexts.
Wellness Center
The wellness center uses the floor plane to invite users in, passing through an active space that lets users interact with nature and people. The floor as well as protruding roof planes help in the navigation and the use of earthy and natural materials make a lasting impression.
Rehabilitation Center
Rehabilition center is designed for people healing from mental wounds. The subtle design gestures makes maximum use of nature to aid the healing process. Using sensory gardens, water features, pebbles and the stone surface to induce a tactile effect to invigorate the senses of the user. the plan is designed to transition the user through different stages of healing using multiple strategies and programs.
Residential Architecture
